Once accounts, groups and access exist, administering a large installation one row at a time becomes the bottleneck: adding twenty people to a group, suspending a batch of accounts, giving the same access to a list of people, or undoing any of that.

To be worked out when it is picked up: which operations are worth batching, what a confirmation should show before running, and what happens when a batch partly fails.
